An economy is simply a story we tell ourselves. Times are great, go buy stuff. Certainly currency, and even gold (and even more than gold and fiat currency, diamonds are really nothing but a story about value). All of which makes me think that talk of recession has an inevitable logic to it. You can only talk so long and so much about recession before you have one.

Side note: I feel like we should have a mega-thread on the coming 2019/2020 recession and just keep dumping the bad news in there for a while. BTW, we've been at 60% liquid for a while now.
