This totally makes sense,  I don't think they originally envisioned the Droid OS being used on larger screen devices like cheap laptops and tablets, but that market is starting to take off.

I am expecting someone to come out with a phone which can be docked into a screen with keyboard and used as a workstation, once there's an os that would sensibly support it - it could, if good enough, do everything they're touting 'the cloud' as offering and work really well for businesses with multiple offices/hotdesking/laptops, so I reckon there has to be someone somewhere with ideas on a drawing board ready to roll them out at some point.

If not - doug can build it and I'll just take 10% for the idea :)

Gaming also possible....

Rather than focusing on new hardware (although Sony have announced a new version of the PSP - dubbed the NGP), the new offering will “make PS content available on Android smartphones and tablets”, and be a “hardware-neutral game framework.”
