Human-driven EMT vehicles are a steady cause of accidents. IIRC, some cities no longer let them power through intersections without coming to a full stop.

Don't try to go all rational on us. Do you think that will be the lead headline when the drone ambulance kills someone?

There is no way this technology is not coming.  I am sure it will eventually be coupled with self-driving trucks.  I could just see it, a truck pulls up into a neighborhood, then multiple drones launch and deliver packages in a fraction of the time a single human can do it.

I'm also expecting UPS (or maybe AMZ) to provide small, RFID-laden 'landing pads' so the homeowner can help guide incoming drones.  Though the tech is advancing so quickly now, that may already be unnecessary.
