Flickr was probably the first "social" of social media that took off.  Damn shame that it was ignored.

I personally love the user experience on Flickr - looks great on a cell phone and desktop.

I've had my account for 12 years and from my own contacts and other photographer friends the core crowd never left and I think it's starting to gain some momentum again
