Now to solve the storage problem. Despite the Gigafactory, the price of the Powerwall has barely budged. I think it has come down by $500 per unit.

Not that batteries are good method for large-scale storage. There are many methods that are probably better - reservoirs, super-heated saline, flywheels...

Having just watched "The man with the Golden Gun"  I know that all we need is the Solex Agitator, and it looks a bit like an Arduino.
