Job Title: Optimization Modeling Consultant
Location: Juno Beach, FL



Optimization Modeling Consultant

$21.50 p/hr

Length of Assignment: 3/14/11 - 9/25/11

Contract Position Skills and experience requirements are as follows:

•Experience developing complex linear, non-linear, and integer mathematical optimization models

•Strong familiarity and experience with Lingo modeling software and its integration with Microsoft Excel (importing and exporting data) OR ability to translate an existing in-progress Lingo linear/integer program into a comparable application (Lingo preferred), including the application of mathematical modeling techniques to construct new model constraints or modify the existing ones.

•Good intuition for developing simplified modeling assumptions that closely match reality while facilitating expediency for model development and results

•Comfortable working in a corporate environment where high levels of ambiguity may exist, reasonable assumptions may need to be made in areas that are not data-rich, and model changes may be necessary to accommodate the requirements of multiple internal and external customer groups that are evaluating the real-world feasibility of model results against expectations that may cross the boundaries between objective/mathematical and subjective/political.

•Comfortable working on project that is expected to be short-term (3-6 months) but may expand if modeling outcomes drive changes in project scope

Optimization Modeling Consultant needed to complete an existing in-progress Lingo linear/integer mathematical optimization model. Candidate must be willing to work approximately 20 flexible hours per week (eve, weekends, remote).

well, it doesn't look right to ME, but I since I just cut and paste it, I assume it's correct:)

But its not for an SEO. Its for Modeling Software and I believe it can be used in complex revenue modeling systems, like the ones we see in social media interaction.  This goes back to my 'viral' thread, and how to model revenue accurately.
