Worst damn idea in the world IMO.
I read important emails as they come in / first chance I get and deal with them right away. The rest of the dross, informational etc stays there, I read when I want to, and I use the Gmail / G Apps excellent search interface to find stuff. I think of my email system as my primary filing cabinet.
