Dashboards for Google Analytics
« on: March 04, 2016, 12:05:20 PM »
Does anyone have any experience or recommendations around dashboard apps for aggregating various Google Analytics and other data? E.g. dashthis.com

The in-built GA dashboard functionality is proving quite limiting.

That's pretty cool.

I don't know of anything like that, but have you checked out Supermetrics?

It's just a suite of products for bringing data into various places. What data and what places depends on how much you pay (fairly a la carte). But GA data into Google Sheets is free (to a point).

You have options for tables, charts, etc direct via Supermetrics, but of course if you can pull the tabular data you want and do a bit of scripting or whatever you need, you can build any chart your spreadsheet app will build.

Supermetrics is pretty good.

Also Optmyzr pulls in Adwords data but you can build reports with GA data as well and you get nice visualisations.

A bit of a tangent, but https://www.quillengage.com is good for giving you a conversational assessment of your data.

Then finally only for one account at a time (unlike Supermetrics where you can do rollups) there is the Google Analytics Sheets Addon which you can pull API data from.

This does more than just GA and on sale for lifetime today:

Dunno how good, but I'm thinking about trying it out.

I checked out the free trial to Neatly... it's faster than GA, but not a lot. The PDF reports are not formatted well (a box will go onto the next page and then the rest of the page is blank - not something you could send to a client).

Thanks for that info. I didn't sign up as it didn't really look ready for prime time, thanks for confirming.

I've spent the last couple of days working with the Supermetrics tools. It looks like they'll do what I'm trying to do. Thanks for the tip.
