are they paying for the death of TV?
When I think about the TV I have watched in the last 10 years it has consisted of:
Box sets
Films
BBC News
Al Jazeera
eek. that it? I think so.
People must still watch TV, soaps, Reality etc and it looks like ad spending is on the rise on TV. That surprises me.

Our first TV campaign starts 1st March.

Well, there is a local Ladies Lingerie firm I know who does it successfully, and think you will do well too.
It still seems strange that Ad spend is increasing in a media that by many accounts is losing eyes. Ah until I read the Bard report:
There’s an unshakable millenarian faith in some quarters of the business world that established TV networks will ultimately suffer the same sort of fate as, say, Eastman Kodak in the world of photography. Based on our analysis of the figures here, we’d suggest that this doomsday scenario is, to say the least, unlikely to be triggered by the rise of Netflix
actually very interesting reading.

Nothing quite pushes ads in front of a mass of people like TV.

90% chance we're being featured in a reality TV show with on-location filming happening within the next couple of months. Down to final negotiations...
I don't think I can say more just yet. Could be huge. We'll find out what the lingering power of junk television is or isn't.

Rather you than me :)

It sort of makes sense. Most people who are heavily online watch little broadcast TV. How do you tap into new customers? Go places where they don't usually see you.

Nice! Could you put the clip online somewhere?
>90% chance we're being featured in a reality TV
Are you eccentric enough for reality TV? You seem very level-headed and practical. But maybe through the miracle of editing...

Put the clip online somewhere?

I am pretty sure Fanatics is going to start rolling out some TV spots here in the near future. Amazingly the company has been able to drive $1 billion in sales with very, very little unaided brand awareness. So our goal is more of a branding play than a straight sales play. We want to get our name out there and in front of people so they are familiar with our brand. The angle they are playing up in the ad campaigns is a total 180 from what you generally see as a "sports fan" on TV. No stupid, screaming, face painted guy on his couch eating Doritos and drinking Coors. Can't wait until we roll it out.

WTF NO Doritos :'(
