danieljack, that is a strong view. I get where you come from, but its not always like that.
I know of several small business that do well with facebook. A couple of examples:
Embroidery company.. local, and works on word of mouth... (or word of Facebook
)
Bridal Companies... I knw several that work it well.
for bigger companies, it is a way of telling customers about competitions, offers etc.
