Speaking of streaming video...
« on: January 04, 2011, 10:08:09 PM »
Anyone streamed video it for profit?  I only began to see the potential a few weeks ago.

The pro gaming community are streaming their matches, tournaments, and lessons live.  They play commercials at page load and as desired between matches.  They also advertise lessons at $20-$50/hour.  HOw can WE make money with this?

1.) Rent a mansion in S. Florida.
2.) Fill it with hot naked women and interactive cameras.
3.) make money

...that's how they are doing it down here.

...and I've seen it on a smaller scale when they streamed the Jiu-jitsu World Championships this year.  I paid the $5 or whatever it was because there was no alternative.

I could see that working on anything cult like that, where there were enough potential customers to justify the cost. Amateur racing, preaching, anything that isn't being handled by mainstream media?

oooh, got an idea: do it for HS sports, get the kids involved, teach them online in videos and webinars as part of curriculum, then sell local advertising at a central location, but using the network to get the message to them. Revshare it.
