Water Cooler / Re: UKers, please define: commercial refuse bag

So apparently there are more restrictions on carrying a commercial waste bag in your vehicle in the UK than on carrying a firearm in your vehicle in the US.

I have no further comment.

lol, quote of the day, love it.

>commercial waste bags

Right. But what makes it a designate commercial waste bag?  You have to get special ones and a license?

They're normally a colour other than black and have the wording trade waste or similar printed on them, so when they go to the landfill or it's picked up they can be easily checked

The headline is a bit misleading, surprise, surprise.
It was because he didn't have a licence to have the commercial waste bags.

I've never subscribed to a YouTube channel before but I'm really liking what DUST are doing.

It's a load of short movies (about 15mins) that are used to promote the story to the big studios to turn them into features length films. I'm really liking most of them.

Thought I'd share if anyone here likes their movies

The UK is in the EU with opt-outs.
But the UK wants out of the EU with opt-ins.

Anyone else scratches their head when they try and work that out?

Back when this was all first proposed, China made a detailed list of all the things it would ban from the US.  It nowhere near matched the US ban dollarwise.  But each product chosen would have a major impact in a state where Trump support was highest. (ie soybeans = Iowa).  Every single product had been well thought out by the Chinese.  I had to admire the finesse.

oooh, that's devious. Didn't think about it like that.

I have to laugh at this,
US increases levies on steel & aluminium, the EU hits back by increasing levies on Levi jeans and bourbon..... I mean really, is that going to make a difference?

Yes, 'food creations' have become crazy, but then it's not just what we're eating but the lack of exercise also.
Back in the day one had to get up to turn the TV channel over, now you just lift a finger. You even had to walk up stairs, now they move for you. Lazy buggers.

hmmm, just use chop sticks, that solves everything :)

Cheers buddy, good points there but it's more how to go about physically printing the insert on the fly when an order comes in.
I suppose I'm looking for a magical thingymajig I just plug in that doesn't exist.

So my line of thinking is this:
  • Approach a printing company to create me blank templates with the perforations I need for the coupons and for easy folding by hand.
  • Buy a colour laser printer that does duplex printing.
  • Program the system it so it generates the information needed when an order comes in.

Do you think I've left anything out?

I want to see if it's a viable route to go down.

I'm wanting to print an insert similar to what do inside their boxes

This image shows the same insert but both sides - dimensions are 12.5 x 25cm

Each one is personalised with the customer's name and recommend a friend codes that are perforated at the bottom for easy tearing, and I'm guessing machine folded.

Anyone here knows of anything that will do the job, be it a single machine or a couple of machines?

The switch is amazing and I'm so glad Nintendo have pulled it out of the bag again
