Isn't that the big question? With their new separate software division (Cariad) I'm starting to fear the worst, though all I could find was this promise of a tierd service.

Hey - I know I'm a bit late, but I'm back from dealing with a family emergency and was delighted to see the update on the IDBuzz progress. Thank you! I'm also disappointed both with the subscription-model services and also the fake noise-making at low speeds. As if our world wasn't noisy enough. Still, it's exciting to follow and I'm excited to see what they end up releasing.

Thanks for the heads up! And it'd be coming at a good time as our current vehicles are starting to act as if they are ready to be put out to pasture.

Tom and I got a demo of some self-driving tech from our nephew and while not yet capable of handling winding mountain roads, I'm bullish on the highway driving potential.

And I'll keep my fingers crossed for the $45K price tag. If it really comes up at that price, it sounds like my dream vehicle.

I managed to get out bouldering for a little bit yesterday! It's been a long time, and although I was extremely tentative (still experimenting with a tweaked hip-flexor or psoas in my left hip, so tried to avoid pulling hard) it felt great. Also managed two short slow runs, and more random one-legged chair squats.

I'll try 3 exercise sessions per week and at least 5 stretch sessions (>30 min). The flexibility thing is really killing me these days.

Also, Travoli - thanks for the tips. I have tended to be a breakfast person, but no eating after 6-7pm was just too early, especially for social situations. I'll try pushing back the breakfast time and give it another go.

I'd love to join in too! I'd like to be more consistent.

Ergophobe and I tried the time restricted eating thing too, and found it HARD on any days where a commute or traveling was involved, though it was a good way to stop the late night snacking. Tell me more about how you organize around it, Travoli. Maybe I should give it another try.

Traffic / Call Tracking vs Local Search NAP
« on: November 07, 2017, 07:29:37 PM »
With the increase in mobile searches my company is seeing an increased number of call conversions rather than online transactions, and the need to track that becomes more pressing.

We can use trackable phone numbers, but as soon as those become prominent on the website it comes into conflict with the Local Search recommendations to have the same number on the website as you have across all of your citation listings. But if it's the same as all your citation listings it doesn't track anything meaningful.

It seems like the solution a few years ago was using javascript to change out the number on the site to something trackable. However, now that Google renders javascript, will that still work? Are the better ways to track phone conversions across different marketing channels?

I don't know about the previous thread, but a former co-worker of mine used to always be on the hunt for models who were "ethnically vague".

If you are shock melted, you escape the air blast, AND you don't have to worry about the ear drum rupture. Seems like a good option.  :D

Don't worry about it. I've moved on from carrot to carrot cake. I thought someone said something about a trip to the South of France.  ;)

Good point about local news... We don't, but should reconsider.

So, how hard would it be to intercept a drone mid-delivery to hijack pizzas?

Sounds right. Modern day Scheherazade. The pen is mightier than the sword, etc. Thanks for sharing.
