Google Inc. (GOOG:US) briefly surpassed Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM:US) as the second-most valuable company, trailing only Apple (AAPL:US) Inc. and underscoring the growing role of technology in the economy.

HONG KONG (Reuters) - Internet search company Google Inc (NSQ:GOOG) will own a 5.94 percent stake in China's Lenovo Group Ltd worth $750 million once Lenovo's deal to buy Google's Motorola handset division closes, according to a disclosure on the Hong Kong stock exchange.

Google would take 618.3 million Lenovo shares at $1.213 per share, the stock exchange said late on Thursday.

Lenovo agreed to buy Google's Motorola handset division last week for $2.91 billion in a cash and stock deal. ::)

In March 2013, Geoffrey Hinton and two of his graduate students, Alex Krizhevsky and Ilya Sutskever, were hired by Google. Their work will be focused on both improving existing machine learning products at Google (such as the Android) and also help deal with the growing amount of data Google has. Google also purchased Hinton's company, DNNresearch, for an undisclosed sum of money.

When I  managed "Big Daddy Smokes" years ago, we used UPS age verification service that cost $6.00 at the time for verification on the 1ST purchase that was delivered.  :-X
