We got automatic speeding cameras here for a while. Just like pulling the jackpot for the state:
2  Why We Are Here / Hardware & Technology / Re: NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 Dual Band Wi-Fi Gigabit Router on: November 19, 2017, 12:25:29 PM
Anyone still looking into this? I never got around to actually buying a new one, but demand is high in the household and I need to get one asap.

Any pointers or is the AC1900 still the one?

I can dig some numbers out for you using the Searchmetrics ressearch cloud as well.

>Turns out it is almost exactly the average monthly GDP of Denmark (25.5b USD in 2016 aka 306/12)

Thanks Tom and sorry about that. Monthly of course. Missed a comma there, but still a lot of dough.

>Journalistic hell.

After having the tv on in Vegas for a few days, I'm confident that US is headed in downwards spiral. Holy sh##.

99% drug commercials speaking to the lowest common denominator. Following the US tv broadcasting for 10+ a few times a year REALLY shows how desperate it is getting. It takes an effort to shock me, but we'd hit rock bottom. Also CNN, Fox, Cnbc and all other news channels are stories about crime, drugs, sexual abuse, finacial problems etc. It's turned into a live living room discussion with your f-ed up drunk uncle spewing bs.

>Boggles the mind

That's an understatement. It's the equivalent of the GDP in Denmark... for a year.
10  Why We Are Here / Water Cooler / New discoveries at Sherwood Forest’s ancient Viking meeting point on: November 03, 2017, 09:14:46 AM
Sorry NFFC, but it seems we got there first.

The wood is the home of the famous Major Oak tree which, according to local folklore, was used by Robin Hood and his merry men for shelter.
Andy Gaunt, of Mercian Archaeological Services, which led the study, said: “It’s where they [Vikings] signed laws, settled disputes and all sorts of things like that.”

12  Why We Are Here / Traffic / Google Search vs. Youtube Searches on: November 01, 2017, 03:43:03 PM
I am doing some research for a client who wants to know the search volume BOTH on Google and Youtube. Eg. does anyone have any idea of how to pull some search numbers exclusively on youtube searches?

I tried but the data seem borked and totally random?

Old but still current and they keep dissecting animals for the public to see:

Marius the giraffe killed at Copenhagen zoo despite worldwide protests
Young giraffe unsuitable for breeding was shot, dissected in public and then fed to lions despite offers of a new home

Well done! I see my oldest (13) asking for nutrition advice and health benefits. She's always been on the heavy side, but the last year or so really got interested in excercise and nutrition. Think she lost 10 pounds an looking great. Melts my heart knowing it will benefit her in so many ways - especially as a teenage girl.

Sorry about the old man LM. Hope he gets better soon and eventually change his habbits.

My dad died from cancer and the last year where he quit smoking and eathing healthly  - was in his words the most depressing time ever. "They took all my pleasures away and I'm still dying.." was some of the last harsh words.
