What is neat is a lot more of them are building their own indexes than I thought, they just are not in English.

I'm glad they are growing.  Across the board there is some innovation going on.

“The main idea is to provide neutral information and allow people to depend less on machine learning-based filters,” said Unbubble founder Tobias Sasse. “If you are using Google today, perhaps you’ll notice that there is always the same mainstream information,” preventing people from seeing the “great diversity” online, he said.

That's one thing I've noticed on Bing as well, it's always the same mainstream media websites that rank on the first two pages.  With a few others mixed in. 

Also on Unbubble: I have to hand it to them for the US version, they found cost effective source engines that together produce a decent result.
