Businessweek 1995: The Internet? Bah!

Caution: You've entered a time warp.

We're promised instant catalog shoppingójust point and click for great deals. We'll order airline tickets over the network, make restaurant reservations and negotiate sales contracts. Stores will become obselete. So how come my local mall does more business in an afternoon than the entire Internet handles in a month?

Have fun with this one.

Wow, that is fantastic.

I was still in High School, bought a 9600bps modem and paid for AOL by the hour.  And nobody could use the phone while I was online.  Ha!
