Southwest Airlines Has No Plans For No-Frills Basic Economy

The other domestic airlines just keep forcing consumers to SW.

I'm glad to hear that, and I'll continue to fly SW.

> Norwegian

Booked them London to NY, under £1,000 return. Premium rather than full business but for me a relatively short flight. Will do almost anything to avoid BA and AA, would rather swim.

Will report back.

Norwegian is putting the pressure on the old airlines here. Especially the old SAS is under siege as Norwegian is offering cheaper flights to SAS primary destinations - with never planes and lower prices.

HOWEVER, you need to be aware that Norwegian charges for EVERYTHING - even your luggage.

Not really an airline.

Not a lot of room.
