Me too. A repeat of last winter is likely off the table. I can't see breaking the all-time record twice in a row.
But even a big winter will be tough up here. They are *still* digging out the snow in the Tuolumne Meadows area trying to get buildings open and trying to get Hwy 120 open through the park. Preliminary reports were that 80% of buildings were damaged, but the most recent assessment has it at 63%
Road damage even down at our altitude still has multiple ongoing projects to get both lanes open on some of the main roads.
It would be nice, though too much to ask, to have a few "average" years. We've gone from breaking the all-time drought record to breaking the all-time snow record in 8 years.
