Although I am advising friends who are tight on money to stop paying their bills. I would expect that a large number of that 21 million are alive and broke

One thing reported from the ground in China is that hospitals in Beijing and Shanghai were NOT overflowing. So to the extent that there was a coverup, it was not like, say, the Mao's Great Famine.
