Thanks RC!  I want one when they start shipping again.

We can save the robotics for puppies.

My town had a legendary barber, Sammy. I knew guys that drove an hour to get a haircut at Sammy's.  He was always booked (no appointments, you had to wait your turn --quietly. Nobody talked much at Sammy's, it was a quiet, manly sanctuary.)  I could wait until odd hours of a workday afternoon and slip in and only have to wait for 2 or 3 ahead of me ...which was easily tolerable because Sammy was fast as lightning (scarily so, when he was flashing those scissors around your ears).

Then, about 20 years ago, Sammy developed health problems and had to periodically close the shop.  Man, I hate changing barbers! Besides, nobody ran a mens club like Sammy's.  So it got down to driving by his shop to see if he happened to be working that day. I was staying pretty shaggy.  I finally broke down and bought a Flowbee.

Talk about missed opportunity: I've been checking for Flowbee on Amazon and on the Flowbee website every couple of months since you recommended it RC, always been out of stock.  Just think if the Flowbee guys had had a warehouse full of these before the pandemic hit.

Used and new in box Flowbee's are available on eBay and commanding some high prices.  I'm not that desperate yet.

If Flowbee ever comes back in stock I'll definitely buy one.  In the meantime I bought one of these:

Remington HKVAC2000A Vacuum Haircut Kit, Vacuum Beard Trimmer, Hair Clippers for Men (18 pieces)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OLV3UN8/

It was on most of the ttop 10 review lists.

I read some sort of follow up on the Flowbee factory in TX.  I don't remember where.  Apparently Covid shut them down and the owner/inventor thought it better to keep his workers safe rather than trying to cash in on the lockdown, so he closed it down.  He promises to get back up and running as soon as he gets the all clear.

I'm still buying one when they come back just to have on hand for next time.
