That's interesting.  There is also evidence that some cancers need glucose to grow.  A lot of new-ish research has been looking into glucose restriction as a tool to fight cancer.  Glucose neogenesis is the process of making glucose from protein sources -- if a body has too much protein then it will synthesize glucose to use as fuel and in turn the cancer cells will use it to multiply.  So, this looks like there is potential for protein restriction to be beneficial to cancer patients for multiple reasons.

I think we've mentioned Dom d'Agostino (spelling?) here before. He is a biochemist (?) who is doing research on ketogenic diets and cancer treatment

Let me guess.  The only thing that doesn't make you have cancer is eating liver.  And bran.  Without sugar.

From what i've read, any excess of protein (even plant-based) helps cancer to worsen.

The old sayings are the best "Moderation in everything" "You are what you eat".

The research isn't showing (as far as I know) that protein is causing cancer, but it is giving cancer needed nutrients to grow.  Similarly, glucose is cancer fuel.

Seems like most modern ailments are caused by over-nutrition.

Yes like Gerson therapists say, it's all toxicity or deficiency, Cancer seems to like fatty, acidic environments also.
