It's so easy to become that person as you get older, and lose stuff that used to make you happy. I'd agree that the charts are mostly sh## though, but that's more the change in the way music's consumed than any drop in quality. There's still great stuff out there. I always enjoy listening to music other people like.  Tastes vary and its a nice way to discover new music.
