Washington State just got their stay at home orders this evening. All non-essential business closed. But not surprisingly the marijuana shops are considered "essential". We can still get groceries, go out for walks, take the family to the park to run around (but the playground equipment is closed), etc. but that is about it. ALL gatherings (including weddings and funerals) are banned. 2 weeks right now but that of course could change.

"So I say, let's give this a few more days or weeks, but after that, let's go back to work and go back to living. Those who want to shelter in place can still do so. But we can't live with this uncertainty," Carlson read before asking Patrick to expound on his message.

"I'm not living in fear of COVID-19. What I'm living in fear of is what's happening to this country," Patrick prefaced his remarks. That's just insane; it isn't even a valid argument.  Those nations who took the strongest actions the soonest will be bouncing back first.  The United States had over two months to prep.  The administration completely dropped the ball, now they are literally telling old people to die because they believe stock portfolios are worth more than human lives.

These guys are a dumb as a sack of hammers.

I'm watching the Fox News "town hall", Trump is pushing the "everybody needs to go back to work" narrative very hard.

The Mississippi Governor is refusing to do a shutdown.

As hard as they are pushing this, I don't know if their base is going to get on board with dying for the economy.
