YOU GUYS!!  I'm so stupidly excited about this!

Did you know that there is such a thing as kayak racing? And you kayak on rivers to get to the next point? I didn't! I was lamenting that I really wanted to get back into triathlon but absolutely hate bike riding with cars and then someone told me of the MR340.

340 miles on the Missouri River over two days. I probably should start with something a bit less, but I kinda want to do this just to finish it! Since my elbows are shot, I use a kayak that is pedal powered (Hobie Revolution 13 if you're interested.)

I'd have to train hard to make it. But what an experience!!!

I got mine used and it's a 2017 model. It was about $1600, and I don't feel bad about spending that on something that brings me so much happiness.
