That surprises me. Some parts of Norway are pretty remote and must have the AWD issue that I have.

I was thinking they must have some good infrastructure. It turns out that with 0.7% of the population of Europe, they have 9% of the charging stations.

They also have all kinds of incentives like half-price parking for EVs.

I'm guessing at this, but I think the remote area settlements are still coastal so they use a lot of boats, ferries and ships.

Friends over there...
there are massive intensives to go electric.... Mate Graham gets on a bit of a rant about it.... it supports the wealthy who can afford to be early adopters.

No Tolls, free parking etc etc.

The taxes on cars over there are huge.  I met a lady who was responsible for assessing each car imported for tax at a party there once...  glad we dont have to pay their taxes..... interesting job though, got to drive everything :)

Massively subsidized.

No annual road tax
Maximum 50% of the total amount on ferry fares for electric vehicles
Parking fee for EVs implemented locally but with an upper limit of a maximum 50% of the full price
Access to bus lanes
Company car tax reduction reduced to 40%
No purchase/import taxes
Exemption from 25% VAT on purchase.
