RC's Mad Max Face Shield
« on: March 23, 2020, 01:18:14 AM »
Nursing home's food service department is now rinsing and saving all clear 2-liter plastic bottles.  We're going to cut the ends off, split the remaining column to make a curved sheet.  After storing them under a weight to flatten some of the curvature, we'll cut a slot near the top to slip it over the brim of ball caps or golf visors.  Tape it in place.

I've done it before for other projects.  You end up with a sheet of crystal clear poly about the size of a sheet of stationary.

nurses in Sweden are making their own protective visors from staples, elastic bands and transparent printing paper.
