I dunno why actually, but I loathe and to some extent hate Uber and Lyft.. seems like the stories of bad management, a few personal really bad experience with drivers and just fed-up with all the disruption bs finally did it for me.
They ditched Denmark again which I found somewhat refreshing.. but that's just me.

Arlington, Texas is trading public buses for ride-sharing.
After introducing commuter buses in 2013, the city is replacing them with a new partnership with app-based ride-hailing company Via, which will operate 10 vans to shuttle residents. It's the first U.S. city to experiment with this kind of venture.

Wasn't there something during the Greek meltdown where they found it would have been cheaper if they had shut down the bus system and just bought everyone cab rides????
