US employee 'outsourced job to China'

A security check on a US company has reportedly revealed one of its staff was outsourcing his work to China.

The software developer, in his 40s, is thought to have spent his workdays surfing the web, watching cat videos on YouTube and browsing Reddit and eBay.

Well that's one good reason not to employ people who work from home.

He gave the outsourced worker 1/5th of his salary to do the job... crazy really.

Great story.  Sounds as though no one noticed whilst he was working there, so he must have been getting the job done to a reasonable standard.

I'd bet his outsourced worker was also surfing the web, watching cat videos on YouTube and browsing Reddit and eBay.
