A lot of women and young people I know are very engaged these days.  I suspect the voter turnout to be high in the USA.  Three of my four children are eager to vote, and the third would if she could.

The Economist has traditionally endorsed a US presidential candidate (Reagan x 2, Bush 41, Clinton… don’t know about others). I think negative endorsement are new territory for them.

Anybody can add subtitles, so it doesn't even need to be a deep fake. But he will be pretty radical. That doesn't mean he will get much done on his agenda. His party has a tiny number of seats. It would be like if Trump ran as the MAGA candidate and had only seven House seats. Milei will need the more mainstream party to get much of what he wants done. So it depends on how much they are on boar with his agenada.
