I've long thought about one of those Japanese toilets...

I expect my house is the only one for miles that has a bidet.  Then again, I owned a plumbing wholesaler when I built the house.

>Japanese

I will say that the separate bidet requires a significant of addition room.

Plus unlike the Japanese option, don't have built-in blow dryers :-)

Once you go Japanese it's hard to go back, bum guns pretty standard everywhere in Vietnam too.

Attached sign still very common too.

I remember those bum guns everywhere. Did not want to touch. That or anything else in the wash.

Have an addon bidet at home. Miss it when we're gone.

We had a bidet installed in a huge master bath we added to our home in Oregon.
The plumber who installed it said we would never use it.
He was correct :-)

I've wanted one ever since I first heard about them. Never known someone who actually had one.

Oh, so this is why some people have so much time to Tweet from the loo, they're waiting 20 minutes for their bum to dry.

Downside is standing in front of a regular toilet waiting for the seat to raise.
