I don't have a printer anymore... what if I just signed my screen and took a picture of it? Would that be enough to legally bind a document?

so I can print a doc, and then sign the doc, and then take a photo of the doc, and send that.... but I
can't
sign the screen, take a photo, and have them print
that
.... ok,

it:)
too bad, I smelled a free app with a recurring marker upsell....

Back in the early 70's there was an English farmer who hated paying taxes. He decided to p##s the government off and took a cow to the local tax office with a cheque painted on the side to pay his taxes. The Inland Revenue refused the cow and eventually took the guy to court for not paying his taxes.
At court, the judge said that the cheque painted on the cow was more valid than a printed cheque because on a printed cheque the only thing he did was sign it but on the cow he had written the whole cheque out himself. The Inland Revenue had to accept it. I am not sure of the year but it was 1971, 2 or 3 cos I remember where I was when it was in the papers.

I can see there being a market for some sort of mobile digital notary system. Probably a bit more complex that trashing your screen with a sharpie though. Maybe a blend of notary services like digitstamp/surety with a digital signature : that then proves who signed it and when.
Mind you - there has been the need for this on desktops for long enough and there still seems to be little take-up of it.

Now you're telling him to get a cow?
Wouldn't it just be easier for all just to go the library and use the printer there?
Or should we all pitch in to get db a crowbar to pry open his wallet and get a printer?
