This is a fully electric Ford Bronco, and you can own one – BGR

That fits my aesthetic and isn't bad for my needs.
I find that it's harder and harder for me to sit long-term in a car and that looks about as comfortable as the 1970s Bronco it's based on. On the other hand, with a 190 mile range, I guess you aren't going to be behind the wheel for five hours at a time. Except maybe if we move back to Berkeley and have to drive I-80 again. Five hours on I-80/580 on a Friday afternoon might only get you as far as Tracy (50 miles??)

My brother had one of those. Rode like a stone.

I would need to grow a mustache and take up smoking to drive one of those.

I had a 91 Bronco and a 94 Bronco. The 91 was awesome. I loved driving that thing, especially with the top off. It would pretty much go anywhere I wanted it to go. I still dig around Craigslist and FB Marketplace from time to time to see if I can justify getting one.

Wasn't there an action TV character that drove a Bronco?

You talking about OJ?

There have been a lot of movies where the male protagonist will drive a fist gen Bronco, seems to be the default vehicle for the over 35 rugged but reliable man.
