I can't think of a registrar I would less like to see get more power... oh wait, I guess I can - Network Solutions and Google and the one that sends me snailmail spam 11 months before expiration telling me it's time to renew.

I guess there's a lot of competition for bad registrars. I would not consider Google "bad" but for the stranglehold they have on the internet. The others, though, are just bad.
