In an official statement Thursday, the European Commission announced it will cancel all 300,000 domains under the .eu top-level domain that have a UK registrant, following Britain's eventual departure from the European Union

So hopefully there's no UK registrants of .EU domains with a prominent domain...

I wonder if the Brit owners will register shell companies in the EU and move domain registration to that?

Seems like the EU likes to make rules that results in a lot of paper shuffling and not much else...

JasonD - could you analyze all the .eu for UK ownership, run them through TDN and let me know which ones to out on the waiting list? :D
