from the screenshots it looks a bit like new home page, with much less innovation* in subsequent pages.

*By which I mean ripping off pinterest!

Interesting concept and great presentation. (I love the background reveals as you scroll down.) But all the Images used are studio quality. I just wonder when the new look is populated with amateur images whether it will just look like a dogs breakfast. (No offence db.)

I like the new concept but I also like pinterest so that will be why lol, I think in general the quality of images on eBay has increased over the last 6 years, sellers have got savy to how much of a difference in price and conversion it can make but there is still a way to go for the majority. I think you are right Chuckford it is going to look pants in comparison to what is demonstrated there, however it isn't brilliant now so it will still be an improvement.

One thing is clear here though, the importance of a quality title is going to diminish, the images are going to be far more important than they are now so one off sellers are going to be at a significant disadvantage. For me it is all good, as long as Ebay don't change their code too much so I have to rebuild the shop and listing templates!

I am probably on a limb here, as I just don't shop like that.   I think it is designed for browsing, and I tend to have a good idea of what I want, then I buy it.

Wasting hours shopping is just wasting time. Researching gadgets on the other hand, I can spend hours usefully engaged with that :)
