Title: Australian teenage Springsteen fan...
Post by: ergophobe on March 01, 2020, 02:58:11 PM
Goes to a concert and holds up sign: "Missed school. In the shit now. Can I play Growing Up with you?"

This is what Springsteen does.

BTW, if you mildly enjoyed this or had any reaction even a bit positive, I strongly recommend Springsteen on Broadway on Netflix. Neither my wife nor I are Springsteen fans, but we both really loved it.

Don't usually bump, but...

Littleman, did you watch this? You're always saying you need more positive news. This really made me smile.

That was fun.

I never been a huge fan, but I do like his music.  Springsteen the person is pretty great though, I was surprised by how smart he is.

That was good.  Springsteen understood how important that moment was for the kid and that the kid had talent.  He's got heart.

Okay Ergo, we have to ration the happy unicorns farting glitter stuff.  This is The Core and DOOM is our daily bread and butter.  hhh

Brad, that's why I waited a week to bump. But thought littleman needed a little relief

>> fan

Me neither. I would say that on balance, I dislike most of his music and there's some that I love. And my wife doesn't know his music at all. But we both loved Springsteen on Broadway on Netflix, as did my friend who is more of a classical music person (plays violin in the regional orchestra).

A Bruce tribute :)  Thanks for the reminder of a great music writer.

As for grumpy:

QuoteIn essence, creativity is down to how easily your mind is diverted from one thought path and onto another. In a situation requiring fight or flight, it's easy to see how turning into a literal "mad genius" could be life-saving.

Nothing to do with being grumpy!!! click bait.
