You have no idea how long I've been talking about something like this. Put this on my wish list. I could launch it out of my back yard.
Nice!
I have always wanted a boat. I have something a little bigger in mind though.
Acrylic?

...and you can get an extra seat for the front:)
Looks good, but it'd be all scratched and cloudy with much use. I'd rather have a small poly kayak.
>it'd be all scratched and cloudy with much use
yeah, but I'd be careful with it. And its light enough not to drag.... just pick it up.... which is where the nasty scratches would normally occur from dragging it or beaching it.
Man, down here, it would be soooo cool... I'm 30' from my canal where I sit, 200yards to the inter-coastal, and 2 hours to get deep into the Keys to where that woman is paddling around. I could find a use in it. A few years back I had a 10' zodiac with no engines... I used to paddle it out to the Intercoastal, anchor, and drink beer and watch the world go by. This would give me a whole new angle on things.
Just polish the mutha with brasso.
Job done. Or rather get poor people to brasso it.
Maybe I'll hire myself to polish it and slowly work it off?
>2 hours to get deep into the Keys
No keys, but I am on a river that's part of the intracoastal waterway. It's a little over 2 miles wide where I live and is part of the 2nd largest estuary system in the US.
Boats have been a big part of my life ...and a big hole in my wallet. Right now, I'm completing a big party/platform boat. And -even though it's big (29 ft)- I wanted it to be fast enough to pull a skier ...so I had to get the marina to do some, ermmm, creative interpretation of the maximum legal engine size. It'll hit 35 with 8 people on board.

This sounds life fun! Any pictures?
Maybe we should start a boat porn thread to go along with the motorcycle porn one?

Can't remember every seeing Brasso in the US. My plumber recommended T-Cut - (normally used for cars) to clean the bath and it brings it up like brand new. I would think that may work as well.
I presume the hoochie will not be included in the 2K - otherwise the shipping costs would be pretty high.
>It'll hit 35 with 8 people on board
heheheh and 2 surfers off the wake!
>over 2 miles wide where I live
wow, only 100 yards here.
>a boat porn thread
if you got'em, post'em:)
>the hoochie will not be included in the 2K
No, I'll trade her in for newer model (pun intended) but that does include the extra seat, paddle, and the little stabilizer add-on they have for it...
