Another example about how emotion sells.

Although, I must say...you need to make people feel enough to motivate them but not so much they can't watch your commercials through to the end. Those Sara McGloflin ads with the cruelty to animals ads make me cry so hard I have to turn the tv off when I see them. they just fuck up my day.
Ha! Brilliant. But, as you say, you need to know where the line is.
The weegies sure know how to beg!
I've noticed that a lot of beggars in Edinburgh have a dog to help to pry the hard-earned cash from my pocket. Was just thinking, if they changed the sign to "The dog goes in the pot if I don't get enough to eat"
I remember a few years ago giving some money to someone for telling the truth - Need money for booze and slutty women

So did Gimpy ever pay you back?
There's so much wrong with that video...
It's a rip-off for a start, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyGEEamz7ZM is the original.
It's offensive to blind people, being blind does not equate to having to beg. How does giving money contribute to solving the message on his sign? That sign says pity me.
It's a sad reflection of what we expect from our society in the UK that not a single person is portrayed interacting in any way with the guy.
...
Better stop the rant before I go too far.
The moral-correctness of the ad aside, I wonder if such a change would have that effect. I am not sure pandering for pity would work.

They actually have a dog because they got more money on social services that way.
I wonder if there is a vagrant ebook available for download that tells them all these dodges and fiddles?
>ebook available for download that tells them all these dodges and fiddles?
There was a guy here in the states that basically was doing that. He use to wear a bunch of question marks all over him and talk about how his book teaches to tap into all the government giveaways.
Does it make me cultured that I knew the soundtrack was Phillip Glass? ;D
How about: "I feel for my wife when we're having sex...I'm blind"
Edo
Actually, I was walking through town today and a beggar said to me, "Hi mate. Have you got any loose change?"
I jingled my pocket and said, "No, it's all nice and secure."
Ka-ching!

I remember that guy. He went to a wmw conf, I forget which. Tried to chargeback his pass charges to brett/wmw after the conf.

I am sure he was a keynote at one of the wmw gigs
