Fairly similar to the NYT daily email, which is one of the few newsletters I subscribe to. If you are not an NYT subscriber, you can't click through to more than a couple of articles per month, but that helps with tuning out. Generally, I find what's in the email is most of what I want to know (though I actually am a subscriber)
you are probably right the NYT is likely more reliable.
I don't know as it's more reliable. I signed up b/c you get more free articles that way (I think) and I find it to be a decent summary for the day and about as much news as I want to read. I often DO read more, but I usually regret it.
It's enough that I don't feel totally out of touch with the major events of the day, but I don't feel perpetually angry and depressed ;-)
