Trying to see what happened there.  looks like he was trying to stop it going down..... as if the front hit oil or similar.

The slide and run is quite cool. 8)

Lots of innovations in consumer motorcycle gear. Cordura, then Kevlar, and now Superfabric. Superfabric makes antimicrobial, fire, cut and puncture-resistant materials. They put tiny plastic/ceramic plates on the base fabric. Pretty cool stuff.
