I backed a Kickstarter project a few months ago, a laptop desk that folds several ways. I took a chance and ordered two, with home and travel in mind.
They arrived today and I'm pleased.

Time will tell if they prove durable but I'm delighted with the form factor(s).
I must say, I'm intrigued. I have a little desk like thing that I use that I bought at dollar general, and it is good enough, but this would be great to take with me when i travel.
I bought this model this past July to raise my chromebook up to eye-level while I'm in my mass-reading mode. I'm satisfied with it and see that there are used ones in the low $20s.

Yes. Note that you'd need a wide tote bag, or else tuck it in your suitcase.
"Paper thin" is marketing hype, but it's less than a centimetre when folded flat. Cardboard thin!

It looks like it would easily fit in my (or more to the point, Theresa's) laptop bag and also provide some additional protection to the computer
