Just got back from a trip on the bike to Grantown on Spey... Whisky country.  Passed this lady on her travels:

Wow, what was your starting point on the bike?

Derby.  2 days up, twisty roads, next to no motorway, lots of coffee and cake, stop overs in Stirling on the way up, Kelso, on the way home.

1150 miles, had to test the new steed :)
Its a BMW R1250rt.... the Ducati has gone, as Sue could not sit on the back for more than 1 hour.  Not disappointed.  Less peak power, but better balanced and more torque, so faster 2 up.

Thanks, wish I could do it more :)

Nice bike >>>>Definitely an older mans tool. I have the discussion of comfort and bikes with a mate, he still thinks its not relevant to be comfortable.   I am beginning to disagree with him on that.
