Somehow I missed that Rivian was backed by Amazon.

It's like Jeff believe that if Elon has a toy, Jeff needs the same toy. Car. Rocket.

This part of California is basically prime market for EVs.  At anytime on the road at least 20% of the cars are EVs.  Most are Teslas, but the Rivian truck/SUV is definitely more numerous than the Cybertruck.

Even before Musk became the political lightning rod he is in 2025 the Cybertruck was generally poorly received out this way.

Lucid cars are also popping up a lot lately. 

I think the EV market is still strong here, but I am think Tesla is basically done.  I've seen vandalism first hand and a lot of people are putting little disclaimer bumper stickers on their cars.  I suspect the stock will continue to fall like a ball bouncing down hill.
