I'm not worried so much about the machine failing as a city in which thousands upon thousands of them are commuting at once.

A fender-bender in stop and go traffic is no big deal. A propeller bender at 500 feet could really ruin your day.

Seems to be inspired by the Vought V-173 Flying Pancake developed during WW2 in the US.
