To what end? Given FB's privacy policy and privacy issues you would think that they would want to keep the buzz on the topic low.
I read somewhere that it was a counter-strike of sorts, as they were pissed-off at the constant criticism and wanted to throw some back at the 'do no evil' monkeys.
