Title: Flickr is putting explicit content sharing behind a paywall

Reddit is quietly separating adult content from the mainstream subreddits.  No longer in 'All' for starters.  We've long discussed how their porn hinders advertisers & investors. A paywall for creators might make everybody but the creators happy.

Is flickr still relevant? Completely forgot it ever existed.

Whatever coming reckoning after the ipo, is going to be painful. I'm just not sure if old. or pron will be nuked first.

Agreed. My scripts mine r/All for news and fun memes.  I don't mind seeing a boob or two, but after 10k onlyfans porn gals flashing me it gets boring.  I filter, but the sheer amount of all kinds of porn posted is unbelievable --looking at ALL/new scans, I'd estimate that no less than 1/3rd of new posts were very explicit porn.  Then, suddenly, very few porn posts.  They are still hosting porn and the categories are still there if you go looking, but they've definitely been testing parsing them out of the mainstream.

I *think* I might be able to replicate old. with tampermonkey.

Yes, it's four years old but really interesting. He has used Flickr as a major part of what seems to be a successful SEO strategy.
