It kinda reads like that one test eliminated half of them.
I like to let good prospects meet with a peer or two that they would be working with so they can ask questions about what it would be like if they came on board. I leave the room so they may have a candid conversation. The info the peers give me afterwards is sometimes more valuable than what I get in the interview.
