Help me out here ... how is this different from crafting a featured links page on my own site?
... Aside from the fact that my bio link would give exposure to LinkPop's branding instead of my own?
I couldn't figure that out either when this was first posted, but keep in mind, you already know how to get space on a server, build a page, add links and all that.
And I quote:

Maybe that's that appeal. It's for people for whom it sounds complicated to create a page with links?
