Lovely in the UK :) 

Daughter Lucy is inter-railing, but in in Amsterdam at the moment and its OK there. 
A few coming back from Spain I meet say its too hot there.

Its supposed to be getting a little hotter at the start of next week.  So far (in London) at worst its uncomfortable, but TBH I think the vast majority are finding it rather pleasant.

Pretty clear though that with a few more °C on the thermometer in years to come, there's going to be a significant impact.

It could exceed our record here in Scotland, 32C. Was in Spain a few weeks back where it was 40C for a number of days, far too hot and bright - for a programmer.

Back from Kenya and it's 28C here today. Expecting 30-32 tomorrow. At the summer house by the coast. Not too shabby :)

TIL only 5% of residential homes in the UK are thought to have air conditioning and many buildings are designed in a way to keep heat in.
